Good Luck Charm - For the future of Dir en grey and Bleeding Idol.

Feeling Overwhelmed…

Between the bloated bulk that is now Wordpress (anyone else miss 1.5?) and the complete loss of all of my files, it’s beginning to look more and more bleak for building up the site. I just don’t have the time to make things like I used to. It’s really difficult trying to juggle my jobs, my social life and my sites all at the same time…I don’t want to give up my site for anything, but seeing it laying here in its dismal state is really…sad. It breaks my heart. I want my files back so bad…I’m rather tempted to send them the money they want just to get them back. Although it wouldn’t surprise me if they “couldn’t find them” or some shit like that because they are indeed a crap company. All of the ranting and raving and spreading the word has really amounted to nothing…and I hate it.

Fuck you, Netrillium. Fuck you Tina P and I hope your shit company fails and turns into a miserable piece of shit like it deserves.

The Full Story

Alright, I don’t know if anyone visited Jem’s site or even cared to, but here’s the low down of what happened to Bleeding-Idol.org:

I’d been with Netrillium since 2006 and they started off wonderful. I’d have a problem, submit a ticket, get quick service and all was well. Then April 30, 2008 my domain went down. I submitted a ticket, they said it was a server transfer and then all would be well…that is, 24 hours after I sent the ticket. I then checked the site and it was still down. Another ticket submitted. I got a faster reply saying it was either an insecure script or someone had guessed my password and I had phishing pages in my site. I asked them to bring my site up so I could fix this. THREE days later they sent a reply, gave me fifteen minutes to respond, then brought my site down again. I emailed them, rather outraged, that it took them three days to reply and I was given fifteen minutes without them even setting up a time! I was ignored. I then decided to change hosts to Holdfire, who’s been extremely helpful in this mess…I can’t thank them enough. Over the course of weeks, I had to send more and more tickets, begging and pleading for them to accept the transfer request and each time was met with a more terse and unhelpful response and never an okay or even mention of the transfer. Half of the things I complained about or brought up (like having to open so many tickets as I was not able to view my other ones) were ignored. I went so far as to give them a detailed schedule so they knew what I was doing because I had “made no mention of it previously.” Again, ignored. The only thing they kept stating was that I had my EPP code and I could do anything I wanted with my site. SO UNTRUE! Finally, the 18th of May, 2008, they tell me they’re going to cancel my account and I need to make other provisions for my site. I was stunned! I’ve been trying to get away from them for over two weeks and they’re canceling my account?! Before I could even do anything (ie: make those “other provisions”), they deleted my files, databases, changed the WHOIS and falsified my EPP code. eNom won’t help me, ICANN won’t help me and the BBB won’t help me.

For the love of GOD, stay away from them.

Expressionist Back Up

Expressionist is back up and all members have been lost. If you joined before, please, please rejoin. :(

I’ve gotten a few things back up and I’m trying my hardest to get them back up in a fairly timely manner. My worst section is going to be Kyo’s style. I have no idea how the hell I’m going to put that back together. The other thing I no longer have is fanart, so if you make any and feel like sending it in to me, please do so…

Thank you.

Rebuild: Phase 1

So, slowly but surely, I’m determined to rebuild the site. Of course, if you happen to have any of the old images and you’d want to send them to me, I have a new email: Bleeding.Idol@gmail.com.

I know it sounds ridiculous…but I kind of feel raped. It’s going to take me a long, long while to rebuild the site…Hell, it took me years to get it to what it was. :(

I never thought I would have to start all over…

Gomen Nasai, Minna-San…

No, Bleeding-Idol.org did not close. It was taken from me, quite literally. If you’d like to read the whole story (more or less), please visit this article from Jem’s site. I haven’t the energy to talk about it anymore.

I’m sure you see tons of broken images and crap all around the site…I’ll try to clean it up as soon as I can…We’ll see what I have on my old computer that I can transfer over, but I don’t know how much of the old stuff I have saved on the old computer. :( Please forgive me for being gone for so long…

Polls Working Again!

Thank God for tiny miracles. The polls are (or at least should be) working again. If you happen to have any problems with them, just let me know.

Mental Fights Ensue! Hooray!

I’m fighting with myself on whether or not to publish a rather personal rant about myself. This weekend, I sought out someone who had something direct-linked of mine only to find out in turn, it wasn’t their fault and I didn’t see that. It really embarrassed me and I felt horrible about it, but at the same time…after so many things have happened…I don’t really feel bad about my initial reaction, I guess only at who it was aimed at. So, do I write up a rant that explains why I act like this? Would it be pointless in the end? Or am I being a bit melodramatic and should just shrug it off? If it didn’t deal with so many personal issues, I might say “Fuck it” and throw it up anyway.
This site isn’t my blog, but so many people send things in and I contact so many people that I feel it may be a necessity to explain why I’m not like a lot of other webmasters.

Sigh…yet again, at a loss as of what to do…
